Concert Choir
This is a new course offered for the 2021-2022 school year!
Students will be introduced to the skills necessary for choral singing (sight reading, vocal tone quality, pitch and rhythmic accuracy, ensemble balance and blend, diction, musicality), while learning music for and performing at four choir concerts throughout the year.
No audition is required.
Bella Cantante
Students will continue to work on the skills necessary for proper choral singing (sight reading, vocal tone quality, pitch and rhythmic accuracy, ensemble balance and blend, diction, musicality). Students will apply these skills to treble music and will perform at four concerts throughout the year.

Chamber Choir
This is the highest level of choral performing ensemble offered at South. Students will continue to work on the skills necessary for proper choral singing (sight reading, vocal tone quality, pitch and rhythmic accuracy, ensemble balance and blend, diction, musicality). Students will be expected to apply these skills (especially sight reading) to challenging SATB music and will perform at four concerts throughout the year.
